YADANA boats provide excellent river sightseeing at a reasonable price along the Irrawaddy River. It belongs to local private company based in Mandalay.

All the boats are well constructed with teak woods in the traditional way just only for tourism. So, it is really suitable for tourists who enjoy doing the river sightseeing. Rooms for the clients are comfortably furnished traditionally with some proper facilities.

All crew members are young and well trained and you will have great time on boat during your river sightseeing. Cook will create an excellent meal time on boat and serve you with different foods on the daily basis.

During your boat trip, your meal time will be not only on boat but also on the sand banks of the river in order to enjoy the different atmosphere; especially your dinner will take place sometime with bon fire on the sand banks. Programs

1.Mandalay – Mingun – Innwa (one day Sightseeing Program)

In the Morning transfer to Mingun boat jetty serving as an ideal base for the boat ride excursions to nearby tourist attractions surrounding Mandalay. Upon arrival enjoy a scenic boat excursion leisurely across the mighty Irrawaddy River. With the upper deck of the boat opened, you can get an opportunity to take a sunbath, savoring the morning soft sun ray. Start the day with visits to the unfinished pagoda of Mingun considered to be the world biggest temple if finished and then on to the world biggest ringing bell. Enjoy an optional visit to the beautiful Myatheindan Pagoda before concluding your sightseeing of Mingun. After the sightseeing, our boat trip proceeds to the ancient city of Innwa. During your boat trip to Innwa, you can have opportunities to observe the local life of the people who earning their living from fishing and gardening along the river, admiring the picturesque scenery dotted with a number of golden pagodas sitting on the top of the mountains along the western bank of the Irrawaddy River. Your lunch time will take place on the boat. On Arrival in Innwa disembark and take a horse cart riding to places of interest in Innwa including the imposing Bagayar monastery, Mae Nu Okke Kaung and the leaning watch tower. Following the sightseeing, take a boat ride back to Mandalay, admiring the sunset beautifully setting in the mountain ranges on the western bank of the Irrawaddy River, followed by a transfer to and overnight at your chosen hotel.

2.Mandalay – Bagan (one day cruise sightseeing)

In the Morning transfer to Mingun boat jetty serving as an ideal base for the boat ride excursions to the ancient city of Bagan. Upon arrival embark and enjoy a scenic boat excursion leisurely along the mighty Irrawaddy River. With the upper deck of the boat opened, you can get an opportunity to take a sunbath, savoring the morning soft sun ray. Along the river enjoy en route an optional visit to Yantabo village. After the sightseeing, our boat trip proceeds to Bagan. During the boat trip , you can have opportunities to observe the local life of the people who earning their living from fishing and gardening along the river, admiring the picturesque scenery dotted with a number of golden pagodas sitting on the top of the mountains along the western bank of the Irrawaddy River. Your lunch time will take place on the boat. On Arrival in Bagan disembark and take a horse cart riding or private transfer by car to your chosen hotel, stopping en route at a temple to admire the sunset beautifully setting in the mountain ranges on the western bank of the Irrawaddy River, followed by a transfer to and overnight at your chosen hotel.

3. Ayeayarwaddy River Expeditions between Bhamaw and Mandalay (4 Days / 3 nights)

Day-1:

Starts from Bamaw to Moe Dar village by making Ayeyarwaddy river expedition.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to jetty for our boat for about half an hour. We start our wonderful Ayeyarwaddy discovery journey by our private boat. After about two hour boat driving, we will be in second defile. Driving between two rocky cliffs will take you to be in a peaceful time. It will be about 45 minutes in the defile. We will have lunch on bout on that time. After lunch, stop our boat at a sandy island and walk to Kyuntaw ruined old stupas and temples compound. Being an old Buddhist monastery surrounded by many old ruined pagodas, we can make good sightseeing among the pagodas and visit monastery to study the monastic life of the monks. In the evening, continue our bout trip on the river. Enjoy the sunset from the boat and camp on the sandy island near Moe Dar village for a night. Being isolated islands during this period, bone fire dinner could be held on those islands if weather permits.
 

Day-2:

During your breakfast at leisure on boat you can enjoy the sunrise from upper deck in the cold climate. Today’s main highlight is a visit to historic Kathar town. We will visit morning market, and buy some flash meats and vegetable for our meals. A visit to the famous “Joeowel house” served as old fire station and some old colonial historic monuments will be included in our sightseeing. Lunch on boat and enjoy the scenic boat driving along the river. In the evening, we can do a short sightseeing in Tagaung if time permits. We will choose one white sandy island for our night stop. A moment of the sunset and drinking of beer or coffee on the lonely island will give you wonderful experiences. Dinner will be on the sandy island or on boat, depending on the water level. After dinner, take your time at leisure to savor the beautiful sky full of stars.
 

Day-3:

Today’s main highlight is a visit to Lwe Nyein village on the western bank of the river. Being full of many old pottery makers and pot factories in the village, we have good opportunity to make sightseeing with visits to some Myanmar traditional potty factories. Living in their traditional cultural, it is good chance to study the way of life of Burma people. After sightseeing in the village, lunch will be arranged on boat. With Myanmar based on agriculture, we will see many green paddy fields, colorful vegetable plantations and beautiful gardens on the sand islands and banks of the river. Along the river with many different shade and sites of the white sandy islands, we can have great chance to make a night stop at any islands we like. We can stroll around on our night stop island, looking forward to fire-woods to celebrate our bone fire dinner. It is the most peaceful and beautiful time in the day. Dinner on the island and night stop on boat will give you unforgettable memory of our river expedition.
 

Day-4:

Your relaxing day tour commences with a visit to Sein Pan Gone village to see the local life of fishermen’ families who earn their living by fishing. On arrival at the village, your sightseeing start with the visit to their monastery to observe their monastic education follow by visiting the some Myanmar traditional house to see their authentic cultural and village life. After sightseeing in the village, start our dolphins and fishermen co-operate fishing in the Ayeyarwaddy river. We will continue our scenic boat driving after lunch on boat. In the evening, we will make sightseeing in Mingun. After watching the sunset on boat, arrive in Mandalay. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Mandalay.
