Trip Overview
This elephant back riding tour is designed to all travelers who love elephant and want to try for a short elephant riding and feeding them. Green Hill Valley Elephant camp is situated on the way to Inle Lake near by Kalaw. The main camp is located 15 miles ( ~24 km ) down from Kalaw.So, we recommend this trip for all travelers who have already plan to be in Kalaw or Inle Lake. It is quite easy to be there from Kalaw by car for one hour drive. This trip is just only for day return. Easy elephant riding and trekking combination is highlight of the tour. And also you can take bath with elephants together at the camp. Making this trip will support the earth and all human by making a plantation of world famous teak wood which is included in the mention pricing. We do recommend program B for young and energize traveler because of trekking trail along the narrow valley. If you want to try really short adventure trekking, we do recommend this program.

Program A
On your arrival at the Green Hill Valley elephant camp, welcome by our team and inform about project. For your refreshment, take a short rest at the camp with green tea and walk (5-7mins) to the river where elephant bath and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants.
Exploration of the forest area will give you good opportunities of watching butterflies, birds and orchids around our conservation area. After that, we will start our elephant riding form our main elephant camp. After your elephant riding to have an experience of riding on elephant’s back of elephant as the mahout, back to the main camp for your lunch. After lunch, you are also welcome to join us to make regional trees planting from our nursery in our forest recovery efforts. After your plantation, return to main camp and take your leisure moment to enjoy the panoramic view of Green Hill Valley. In the late afternoon, drive back to Kalaw or continue your journey to your destination.
Program B
We will meet our trekking team at appointment sport point at Myint Ka village near Kalaw. After a short brief for your trekking information, we will walk through along the forest mountain to see seasonal vegetable plantation. After morning 2- hour trekking , down trekking along a narrow valley, where you are in the nature with adventure will be highlight of the day for another 3 to 4 hours. Trekking along the narrow forest valley will be adventure trekking. Most parts of the trail are quite steep and muddy. Inclusive picnic lunch will be served near a small river.
After lunch, we will walk to elephant camp, where we will start our elephant’s back riding. On that sport, you will have a good chance to see the elephants walking through the river. At the end of your elephant riding along the river bank, you can feed and bath the elephants together with their mahouts. After that, shell we walk to the main camp for half an hours again. On our arrival time at the main camp, take leisure time for your refreshment by taking a green tea. In the late evening, continue your trip or drive back to Kalaw.
