Inle Lake (Wetland Sanctuary)

Inle Lake, the second largest precious lake is located in NyaungShwe Township, Shan State. Inle Lake stretches 9 miles in length and 4 miles in width. Amidst of 5000 feet mountains, Inle Lake is very pleasant with covering mist most of the time.

Inle Lake can be reached by car or train of plane. By car, it is (410) miles for from Yangon-ShweNyaung, and proceeds (7) miles from ShweNyaung to NyaungShwe. By train, (400) miles; from Yanogn to ShweNyaung and (7) miles; ShweNyaung to NyaungShwe. By plane, (380) miles; from Yangon to Heho, and continue to (12) miles; Heho to ShweNyaung, and (7) miles from ShweNyaung to NyaungShwe by car.

At Inlelake, one can stay at the relaxation centre such as hotels, inns in the Lake while gazing at green lake. One can see the natural floating capital (of the Inle Lake) which is not man-made and Inthar villages in lake with are’s bare eyes.
