LASHO (Border Areas)

Lasho is situated on Mandalay-Muse Road, the famous Burma Road built by British before the war and trading town in northern Shan State. The scenery around Lashio is really magical and inviting. THIBAW (Hsipaw)

Thibaw is situated on the bank of the lovely Douthtatwaddy River at the side of Mandalay-Muse Road in northern Shan State. MUSE

Muse, a small town on the banks of the Shwe Li River, is the main border-gateway between Myanmar and Yunnan Province (China). Located 190 km from Lashio, it is a bustling trading centre. If you want to visit Myanmar through China-Myanmar border, Muse is the only place for international tourists to enter Myanmar, accessible also by road from Mandalay.
