Mt.Victoria and Chin Discovery

Day1. Bagan – Kanpalat by Jeep / 4 WD
A full day tour starts with a private jeep or 4WD to Kanpalat. And then, take about one hour drive along Ayeyarwaddy River to Chauk, where have a sightseeing of morning market. The next route is to drive to Seikphyu village which lines on the other site of the mightlyAyeyarwaddy River. After that, proceed to one of the big Burmese villages, namedKazunma Village, in Magwe Division. After lunch drive among the forested mountains. It will be a good time to take photos of the nature. Driving in the dry zone takes about 3 hours before we arrive at Saw, a small administrative town, where stop for a tea brake. Then keepup driving for 12 miles to Kanpalat, asmall administrative town of Chin People. Chin women with tattooed faces and ways of life of the Chin tribes can be observed in this small town. In the evening, check in Pine Wood Villa which is situated among the pine forest about 3000 ft above sea level, for night stop. The cool climatic condition on the hill will be lovely for you while seizing enjoyable dinner and night stay at Chin Eco Lodge.
Day 2.Kanpalat-Mt.Victoria- Aye Village
Under the rising sun, scenic driving to the base camp of Mt. Victoria, 10 miles away from the lodge will be pleasure of the day. The pine forest and sweet bird calls will fill the beauty of the Mt.Victoria which is the most famous birding area for many endangered species of Myanmar. Following the arrival begin our hiking from the base camp, 6500 ft above sea level, to the top, 10200 ft. At the first 45 minutes of the 3-hour-trek, the quick step becomes difficult. Apply your photography at the top during the period of tea and snacks, and then return to our jeep within 2 hours. The trek down is much easier than the way up. ( If someone from the group can’t trek up the summit, please let us know in advance to rive to the top of the mountain by 4WD ). Continue to Aye Village, 12 miles far away from the base camp for one and a half hours driving by jeep/4WD. It is a small Chin village, meaning very cold in accord with her name, lied on the cliff of the forest hill. Once been one of the British hill camps, there are still some colonial’s old and dinky buildings in the icy cold climate. After sightseeing in the village, in which women with tattoo faces as they love tradition, in the evening, catch pleasurable dinner and overnight in the village.
Day 3. Aye village- Kyardo village- LotePe Village- Mindut
The commencement is to be taken by scenic driving for one-hour-trip before we start our interesting trek to Kyardo Village. Experience an hour trek along the track down to a stream first and then another hour trekking to the target, Kyardo Village, for sightseeing of the villagers’ costumes and ways of living. One thing interesting to mention is animism and their beliefs on Sharman and Nat, as well as fortune telling by Sharman and Chin traditional dance. After lunch and a short rest, continue trekking toward LotePe Village, an old Chin village lied on the top of the hill. There tattoo faced women as well as interesting tradition can be experienced. One and a half down trek to Check Chaung Stream follows after the sightseeing of the village. It is an hour drive up to Mindut by the time we meet our jeep on the bank of the stream. Checking in a small guest house and grabbing an enjoyable dinner on the hill including night stay will be at the end of the day trekking program.
Day 4.Mindut-PonetaungPonenyar- Bagan
A morning of different cultures will make us a new taste while sightseeing around Mindut’s morning market. On the way back to Bagan, we will have excellent stops for photos among the pine forest hills. Also a short stop at the top of the PonetaungPonenyar mountain range, experiencing observing small stupas and Nat shrines at the summit, taking some photos as well as having tea at a tiny tea shop there are all included on our way of driving back to Bagan as most other local travelers do for their brake time on that way. When finished lunch, we will operate undersized visits to some more Burmese villages in the time of our way. The sunset will be inBagan. On our arrival time at your hotel in Bangan, it will be at the end of your wonderful adventure experiences with us.-

Untapped Exotic Chin Expedition Tour

Day 1.Bagan-PonetaungPonenyar- Mindut
After breakfast at Bagan, crossed the mighty Ayeyarwaddy as dawn smashes, start to drive to Mindut. On the way, visit one or two historical pagodas in Pakhaukku. Visiting morning vegetable market will show you daily life style of the Burmese people. One the way, make some photo stops at Pauk and around small stupas and nat shrines at the summit of Mt.Ponetaung and Ponyer for photography. Enjoy the Myanmar authentic lunch at a small Burmest Restaurant before we arrive Chin state.In the late afternoon, we will arrive at Mindut and check in at a hotel or at a traditional small guest house. Mindut is a small administrations hill town even it is second biggest in the Chin state. In the British time, it is the main administration town in the Chin State. Walking in the small two in the evening will be good exercises for your adventure untapped exotic Chin expedition tour. We will have dinner at a restaurant and spend night stay at hotel in Mindut.
Day 2. Mindut – HelongVillage
After breakfast, visiting morning market in Mindut will follow by scenic 14-mile driving to the west of the town by jeep. After we leave our jeep, first trekking among the pine forest to the target, Hilaung Village situated on the valley of the pine forest mountain with about 400 villagers will be about one hour. The dense forest there is a sort of factor generating the cold weather. It is Helong Village on the way and one site worthy for sightseeing in it is a Buddhist stupa donated by King Alaungsithu of Bagan by the time of making a trip to Chin State. Dinner and night stop at a village house will be in Helong village.
Day 3.HelongVillag – Amlong Village
A memorable trek to KhoneEai Village is the next one in order for evening sightseeing and all will end up with charming dinner and night span at a traditional house in KhoneEai Village. Have a delightful Chin Hill morning together with a pleasurable trekking enjoying the natural beauty – birding, wildlife nature and scenic vista – of the forest along the mountain range to Htwe Village. The next one hour trekking after Htwe Village is to Htal Pan Village for tasty lunch. The way up walking on the pine forested mountain range is an easy, an hour long trek. The evening sightseeing will be at Amlong Village having about 20 houses. Enchanting dinner and memorable night stay at a small Buddhist monastery on the hill.
Day 4.Amlong Village - KyarAie Nu village – Madat Village
Commence the full day tour with the down trekking to ChakeChaung River for one and a half hour. A suspension bridge is excellent to experience while crossing the river for the two hour up trekking to Htwe Inn Village populated by animists looked like the people in stone age. Go and see their shaman’s house to observe their beliefs and customs. At KyarAie Nu Village, a big village on the height of 1600 m, visit Chin traditional hand-made smoking pipe workshops. After lunch, start again with an interesting trek along the hill side of Chin Mountain to villages: Turdo Village, Htay Pan Village and Masan Village. The evening sightseeing will be in Madat Village, the biggest village during our trekking with about 800 populations having a small primary school. It is looked like a nice garden and lines on the based o the famous Mt. Victoria. The Nat shrine in the middle of the village will be one of the main highlights of this adventure trip..Charming dinner and cool night stay will be at the village leader’s house.
Day 5.Madat Village – Kyardo Village – Aye Village
Morning leisure made us pleased is followed by the trekking and sightseeing in LoatPe Village, there only traditional ways can be viewed, as in their holy wooden poles and stone tombs. Kyardo Village lied on the hill side of the valley of the green mountain range will offer us a lovely evening by their traditional means of life such as in their ancient-styled huts made of wood and bamboo. Tattoo faced women wearing traditional costumes can be watched in this village. After lunch, the half day tour will have a commencement, trekking on the hill of the river valley and cross the river to trek over the mountain range where enjoy bird calls and forests’ natural beauty to be in today destination, Aye Village, a small Chin village on the hill side of the forest mountain in Natmataung national park. Having a fascinating beauty as a once British’s hill-camp with some old colonial constructions, the weather there is quite cold. Also there, taking photos of tattoo-faced women and their ways of living is valuable for the use of time. Aye Village will give each and all of us pleasing experience of dinner and night stay.
Day 6. Aye village – HtikeShwe village
After morning leisure sightseeing in the village, start another whole day trekking among the forest mountain. Today will be long trekking in the nature. On the way to our destination HtikeShwe village, enjoy the photography with nature because there is no village on the way. Most part of today trekking will be in the forest. In the evening, we will arrive at the village for one more night. Take your leisure at the village for tomorrow hiking trip to Mt.Victoria. Dinner and overnight still will be at a Chin traditional house in HtikeShwe village.
Day 7.HtikeShwe village –Mt.Victoria
In the morning, trekking along the scenic forest full of pine trees with the whirling of bird calls is the first program of the day. After lunch at the based camp, take some snacks and water for our trekking and hiking during the time of passing the most famous floral and birding area in Myanmar. Within the 3 hour-trekking to the top of the mountain, 10200 ft above sea level, from the base camp, 6500 ft in height, the first 45 minutes will give us a new experience of the steep and difficult portion of the path. All exhaust, however, will go away by the time of seeing the panoramic view from the summit. After a sufficient rest at the apex, we will make a camping with the tank at the summit. Dinner and camping experience will be main highlight of the day.
Day 8.Mt.Victoria - Kanpalat
After breakfast on the summit, trek down to the based camp and continue to Kanpalat. It will be about 6 and half hour trekking with lunch box. In the evening, arrive at Pine Wood villa for our night stop. After check in hotel, have a rest by takeing hot and cold shower at the hotel. If you have time, walk to nearby a Chin village for some more sightseeing. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Worm and comfortable room will serve you to pleasurable night stop amoung the pine forest.
Day 9.Kanpalat - Bagan
After breakfast, it is programmed with jeep ride to Bagan including a short rest in Saw Village as well as the incident of driving in the pine forest. Lunch at a small local restaurant in Kazunma Village, one of the big Myanmar villages in Magwe Division, has a new sort of taste along the connection between central and western Myanmar. Upon arrival at Bagan, check in at your hotel and it will be at the end of your wonderful adventure trip with us.

Itinerary
Kalw – Inle Trekking ( 5 Days / 4 nights )
Day 1. Kalaw – Ywathit
After breakfas, visit colourful morning vegatable market and take your leisure morning time in the town. Our guide will come and meet you at your hotel in the morning. ( If you want to meet him, he will come and meet in the evening of yesterday.)After lunch, check out from your hotel to start trekking to YwaThit village. We will start trekking from your hotel and pass through the pine forest hills. On the way, enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the forest mountain. We will see some mountain tribe working in their farm. It will be about 4 hours trekking today. Dinnerand overnight will be at YwaThit Village.
Day 2.Ywathit village – Shar Pin Village .(B,LD)
After breakfast at the village, start our trekking to Shar Pin village which line on the hill. On the way, we will visit about 4 villages. Make a Lunch stop at the best view point on the mountain. After lunch, you will be in the forest mountain again and make village sightseeing on the way. In the evening, arrive at Shar Pin Village. Dinner and overnight will be in this village. It will be about 7 hour trekking today.
Day 3.Shar Pin Village –Mawnigone village ( B,L,D)
In the morning, start trek to Nanthale village for about 3 hours and have a lunch at that village. After lunch, trek again to Lamine village. Most of the trekking time will be in open are today. On the way, we will make some short sightseeing at Mawnigone village. It will be about 6 hours trekking on the hill today. Dinner and overnight will be at a village house.
Day 4.Mawnigone village – Chetain Village
It will be about 7 hours trekking today. In the morning visit some hill trip villages and make a lunch stop at KoneHla village. After take a short rest, continue our trekking to Chetain Village. In the evening, dinner and make a night stop at Chetain village. (B,L,D)
Day 5.Chetain Village – Tonele village – Inle Lake( B, L, D )
Today will be the longest treeking to the Inle Lake. After breakfast, start trekking to Tonele village for about 4 hours trekking. Lunch will be served at Tonele village and make sightseeing around the village. This village is stand on the bank of the Inle Lake. We will make about 2 hour execution trip to Indein pagoda compound to see over 1300 stup of 11 Century. After sightseeing in Indein, proceed to your hotel on the lake by boat. On your arrival time at your hotel, it will be at the end of our 5 days trekking trp.

Trip Overview
This demanding trekking tour are designed for some travelers who wants to visit colorful hill ethnic villages by easy trekking by short days trekking trip. In this tour, you will be tribal villages around the Kalaw and Inle Lake. Sightseeing in the villages, trekking among the vegetable farm and forest mountain are the main attraction of this trip. All of the villages are situated on the high altitude and most of the trekking times are among the forest hills, you will get nice weather and unite trekking along the trip. We do recommend this tour for all travelers who have trekking experiences or not. In our experiences, even it is your first time trekking trip, you will enjoy it so much.

| Accommodation: | 4 nights at the village house. We will provide good blanket and mattresses at the villages. All accommodations at the villages are very simple and basic. |
| Bathrooms/shower on trek: | We do arrange to take a bath and watching the cloth at village house for all days. Most of the villages are removed and stay as former time. So, toilet and bathroom facility are poor. |

Itinerary
Kalaw-Inle (3 Day trekking)
(Kalaw – NanthalatheVilalge – Htethein Village – Inle Lake)
Day1 .Kalaw- Lupyin Village - Sharpin Village-Nanthalathe Village ( 9 - 3:15 )
After breakfast at hotel, start our trekking in the pine forest. It is very pleasant and peaceful place. It will be cold, situated about 4000ft from the sea level. After one and half hour trekking, visit Lupyin village, a small village von Danu tribes and there are about 30 houses in the village. And then, continue our trekking to Sharpin village for an hour. Visit old Danu monastery and lunch there. After lunch, trekking among the pine forest and cross the vegetable farms on the mountains. In the evening, arrive Nanthalathe village for our night stop. See Danu people and their way of life in the village. Enjoy the sunset on a hill near the monastery. Dinner and overnight stay at monastery.
Day2. Nanthalathe Village-Bawhinnkone Village-Konehla Village-Pathtopuk Village-Htethein Village
In the early morning, breakfast at monastery and proceed to bawhninkone village. It is one of the big Pao villages and there are 300 houses and nearly one thousand people live together. On the mountain there are not many trees in that area. Visit Konehla, a small Danu village. Most of the people grow the vegetable and rice. They use buffalos and cows for their farming and transportation on the mountain. Lunch at a Danu tradition house and take a rest and observe their daily activity. After lunch, we do trekking again to Pat HtoPukPao village for one hour trekking and then proceed half hours trekking to a farming area through bamboo forests, you will be Htethein village. It is our night stop village. There is an old Pao Buddhist monastery. It will be about 100 years old and about 25 months are live there. Dinner and over night at that monastery.
Day 3.Htethein Village-Kyauksu Village-Than Taung Village-Inle Lake
In the morning, trekking up and down with sunrise. After another one hour trekking on the flat area, visit Kyauksu village. See another different tribe of Taung Thu people. All of them use their black colour traditional costumes and live only on the mountain area. Visit another Pao village, Nyu. After sightseeing, trekking among the vegetable farms and trekking on the stones for half an hour down trekking among the forest rocky mountain. Trekking along a small stream among the bamboo forest, visit Than Taung village. It is an Inthar village and lies on the bank on the Inle lake. Lunch at a traditional house and take a rest. After that, proceed to the bank of the lake and take our private boat to transfer to our hotel in the Inle Lake. After one hour boat driving, check in hotel. Enjoy the sunset from your room and dinner at hotel. (In this day, we can proceed to Indenin ruins small stupas compound and hotel by boat. )
